World Cup 26 — New Tab ("the extension") is designed to be completely private. It does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data of any kind.
Nothing. The extension collects no data whatsoever.
The extension requests no browser permissions. It runs entirely on your device, makes no network requests of its own, and has no background processes or analytics.
The new tab page includes a search box that submits your query directly to Google (google.com) as a standard web search, exactly as if you had typed it into Google yourself. The extension does not see, log, or store your searches. Any data handling at that point is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
If a future version introduces features that handle data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the listing's permissions will reflect it.
